近未来，小说家江丰（黄渤 饰）与妻子张代晨（徐静蕾 饰）从相知相爱到相互伤害，原本幸福美满的婚姻终于走到尽头。伤心欲绝的江丰走进记忆中心，希望通过高科技手段将这段感情记忆从脑海中抹除。谁知意想不到的是，当他被妻子要求取回记忆时，手术之后江丰的脑中出现了一段陌生的记忆，而这段记忆似乎牵扯到了一桩杀人案。在此之后，拥有多年办案经验的资深警官沈汉强（段奕宏 饰）介入调查，他试图引导江丰“回忆”起更多失落的记忆，寻找凶杀案的蛛丝马迹。 黑暗的记忆一层层被揭开，与此同时，被揭开的还有隐藏在最深处的丑恶的人性秘密……
佐原卓子（米仓凉子 饰）是一名经验丰富的律师，在职场上如狼似虎的她常常为了获得胜利而不择手段。一天，同行原山正雄（津川雅彦 饰）找到了卓子，将自己手上的一个案子委托给她，被告是名叫白河球磨子（黑木华 饰）的女人，她被警方控告杀死了自己的丈夫福太郎（中村梅雀 饰）。 在一场车祸中，福太郎不幸遇难，而球磨子死里逃生。虽然球磨子一再强调这场车祸只是单纯的意外，但警方还是在车中找到了沾有福太郎血液的扳手，而一再撒谎耍赖的球磨子也被冠上了恶女之名，遭到了社会舆论的强烈声讨。直觉告诉卓子，球磨子是无罪的。

SHAUNA, the abrasive Irish cook, and her cohort in crime BENOIT, the bone-idle English caretaker, along with the enigmatic PRIEST and the benevolent SHOPKEEPER, round out this unusual and extremely colorful cast of characters. Jake assigns the position of assistant recreational coordinator to Amy, and as she reads from an obscure storybook, the tale of Gregoire and his righteous band of Templar Knights animates, and the story of betrayal is reenacted for the guests. Blood will flow excessively as the cursed and unsuspecting kindred spirits meet their imminent destinies one-by-one during the Crusader's maniacal reprisal.
